National big day commemoration activity: strengthening the sense of nationality of elementary school students
Abstract

Education in the context of fostering a national spirit in the era of openness is currently a formal institution that is related and has a big responsibility. One of the educational institutions that has a significant effect on the practice of national values is elementary school. The reason is, formal institutions such as elementary schools are the initial foundation for students to pursue higher school levels. The success of character education of a nation can be seen from the national spirit of the students. This national spirit is an embodiment of the character of the nation and can be seen from several indicators, which for elementary school students are celebrating national holidays and participating in national activities. These indicators will later be developed in making statement items on a national attitude scale.

Management of floating waste around the Kahayan riverbanks, Palangka Raya
Abstract

Plastic waste floating in the waters can come from land or land activities. Plastic products used in everyday life can be in the form of packaging products, household appliances, transportation equipment parts, construction materials, electrical equipment, industry, textiles, and others. These plastic products will experience a decrease in quality under certain conditions and periods of use so that they become waste. The position of Palangka Raya City which was built from the edge of the Kahayan River is a problem in itself, especially for residents who live on the banks of the Kahayan River who throw garbage into the river. Changes in perception are needed to change people's behavior towards waste. The act of littering will increase if there are no strict sanctions given to trash, even though the arrangement of facilities provided is adequate. Environmental care behavior raised by the community is closely related to environmental education that each individual gets.

One of the social forestry programs implemented by the Indonesian government is village forest. Forest management in Tumbang Tarusan village is currently managed by the assistance of social forestry facilitators from forestry extension agents at the Forestry Service of Central Kalimantan Province. The existence of the Tumbang Tarusan Village Forest is strongly supported by the village government of Tumbang Tarusan as evidenced by the allocation of village funds. In 2019, the Tumbang Tarusan Village Forest Management Institute received honey bee cultivation assistance from the Kalimantan Regional Kalimantan Social and Environmental Forestry Service, but its implementation has now been restructured with a new strategy, which is described descriptively in this paper.

Potential attraction of ecotourism in Sebangau National Park, Central Kalimantan
Abstract

Tourism activities in national park areas pose a challenge to be able to balance efforts to protect and maintain ecosystems with efforts to utilize the area from the tourism sector. National park area management models that can provide financial benefits from the tourism aspect have been widely applied. This model, among others, through the zoning of national parks. In the management of ecotourism, Natural Tourism Objects and Attractions (ODTW) provide important meaning for the sustainability of a tourist area, in addition to supporting facilities and infrastructure, as well as publications. Foresight in seeing tourism potential is very important in order to create a diversity of natural ODTWs in an area, and to package them into superior natural ODTWs, and attract tourists to visit. Handling natural ODTW requires the seriousness of the tourism area manager, both in exploring the potential of existing natural ODTW and efforts to manage it. In managing natural ODTW, understanding the nature or characteristics of natural ODTW is needed in order to find the right form of management.

Community local awareness in respecting coastal land conservation in Cemara Labat Village of Central Kalimantan
Abstract

Utilization of coastal land in the community of Cemara Labat Village has been passed down from generation to generation. The people of Cemara Labat Village still maintain the tradition of coastal land management, such as planting certain types of mangroves, prohibiting cutting down mangrove forests and hunting animals which are regulated in unwritten customary law or local wisdom. Utilization of coastal area resources by humans from time to time continues to increase. The intensity of exploiting the potential of coastal areas resources often does not pay attention to the carrying capacity and principles of optimal and sustainable use of natural resources. Therefore, the mangrove forest ecosystem in Cemara Labat Village needs to be preserved both ecologically and biologically with an awareness approach to local wisdom.

Trends of plastic waste spreading in Kahayan river, Palangka Raya
Abstract

Solid waste sometimes also comes from people who are active around riverbanks such as trading, farming or other activities. Apart from these sources, the presence of waste in water bodies is a form of water pollution. Water pollution in many areas in Kahayan river has resulted in a clean water crisis. Weak government supervision and reluctance to enforce the law properly make the problem of water pollution even worse. The occurrence of water pollution has an influence on the lives of living things, such as the disruption of water ecosystems and clean water used to meet the needs of life is difficult to obtain. Although there are regulations that protect the quality of surface or river water, solid waste in the form of garbage often ends up in water bodies. This is because the surface water is in a low area, so that everything that falls around the watershed can eventually reach the water body. In urban areas, waste originating from land is often carried away by runoff water towards a body of water. Illegally waste is often dumped directly into water bodies or left to accumulate on riverbanks.

Encouraging entrepreneurship program for Palangka Raya university students
Abstract

The number of graduates from universities who are unemployed is quite high, this shows that there is no synergy between the world of education and the world of work. In the end everyone has to think realistically and practically. Realistic means seeing something based on the existing reality, while practical thinking means doing something that can be done at this time. When job opportunities become difficult to obtain, then if someone chooses an alternative to being an entrepreneur, it should be appreciated. But unfortunately, coaching and assistance related to one's desire to pioneer and become a successful entrepreneur does not always meet a smooth path. They face various obstacles, community members who are determined to become entrepreneurs. From field observations, complaints are often found about the difficulty of seeking assistance, either in the form of management coaching, let alone funding or capital assistance.

Evaluation of distance education activities generated partake of visual product by Turkish athletic federation in COVID-19 pandemic process
Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the educational activities in the virtual environment in the visual product format organizing by the Turkey Athletics Federation Board of Education. The distance education activities of the federation were carried out online by the trainers who are experts in their fields, via the Zoom Video Communications system. An interactive education in the form of the slide presentation, verbal expression, and question-answer was provided through this system. In order to make this education, which is a visual product, more useful, the satisfaction levels of the participants were determined. After the Child Protection Program held on 26 April 2020, Performance Psychology in Sports held on 7 May 2020, and Athletics in All Aspects held on May 10, the feedback was received from the participants using the distance education visual product scale. The sample mass of the study consisted of 221 male and 91 female athletics trainers, who participated in the evaluation of the data set after the education. In data collection; The Distance Education Visual Product Scale (DEVPS), the validity and reliability of which was made by the researchers, was used. According to the results of the study, they stated that the trainers were highly satisfied with the visual product education. It is thought that customizing and increasing the quality of the distance education to be given to athletics trainers with a variety of visual products will maintain the level of satisfaction that is high enough and further increase it.

Coal mining activities in general include land clearing, benching system, material handling, hauling, reclamation and post-mining. Mining activities certainly have the potential to have a negative impact on the community and the surrounding environment. In addition, mining activities can cause changes in landscape and land use changes. Changes in land function are one of the consequences of mining activities that will have an impact on the welfare of the surrounding community who have long relied on the potential of natural resources where these activities are located.
