The importance of character education through environmental care in elementary schools, North Barito district
This study describes and analyzes character education for environmental care for elementary schools, along with the analysis of supporting and inhibiting factors. This study develops a theory regarding the implementation of character education to care about the environment, regarding the programs carried out in implementing it. Also, as an evaluation material regarding the implementation of character education carried out by the teacher, as well as a reflection to further increase efforts to provide character education caring for the environment for students. The results of this study are part of community service that can be used as a basis for developing strategies, programs, and implementation of character education to care for the environment in elementary schools.
