Shift work sleep disorder
Abstract

Shift work is associated with sleepiness and sleep disorders. Circadian rhythms are vital to sleep and health. Disruption in the circadian rhythms cause shift work sleep disorder. Many studies have been published to examine the impact of shift work sleep disorder on health and wellbeing. This paper is a literature review of shift work sleep disorder, associated health risks, and pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
Keywords: circadian rhythm shift work sleep disorder, health risks of shift work sleep disorder, pharmacological and non- pharmacological interventions for shift work sleep disorder

About commons and tragedies reviewing a concept
Abstract

Metaphors are very important for Economics as Science, both in terms of reasoning and rationale, and in its teaching. The "Tragedy of the Commons" is a very particular example, originating in the scientific area of the Natural Resources and Environment Economy of one of these metaphors and their effects. Dealing with property rights lends itself to misunderstandings since important researchers in this area do not distinguish between "common property" and "nonproperty", although this definition is crucial for the design of the Natural Resources Management Policy. Along this paper, it is intended to rectify this confusion and to establish an adequate conceptualization.
Keywords: Tragedy of the commons, Property rights, Natural resources, Fisheries, Common property, Nonproperty

Operations pre-continuous mappings in topological spaces
Abstract

In this paper, we define the operations mappings in topological spaces such as (γ*, β)-pre-continuous, (γ, β*)-pre-continuous, (γ, β*)-pre-open, (γ*, β*)-pre-open, (γ, β*)-pre-closed, (γ*, β*)-pre-closed and (γ*, β*)-pre-homeomorphism and study some their basic properties.
Keywords: (γ*, β)-pre-continuous, (γ*, β*)-pre-continuous, (γ, β*)-pre-open, (γ*, β*)-pre-open, (γ, β*)-pre-closed, (γ*, β*)-pre-closed, γ*-pre-open, β*-pre-open

Gifted students with learning disabilities
Abstract

There are some students who can go through all their years of schooling and not be helped in areas where they need help. These students are gifted/talented and also have a learning disability, the twice exceptional students. The twice exceptional students may be very gifted in some areas, but may not be able to read or write, and may be labeled as “lazy”. Other students have been found to have a learning disability, but are capable of so much more, but because of the “disability”, their gift/talent is hidden. The challenge is identifying the twice exceptional student, recognizing their gifts/talents, and, at the same time being able to accommodate their disabilities.
Keywords: twice exceptional, teaching, dual exceptionality, gifted and learning disabled
